Tavis Cain: #6 is ready to roll
By: Ryan Webb

R450: What about in the wintertime?
Tavis: I live right on the beach. You can ride in the winter out there. Dana Creech and I go out there and ride together in the winter. There are no jumps or anything, but we train out there.

R450: What do you think about the circuit this year?
Tavis: It's running smoother and better than it has in the past, but I still think that it has room for improvement. It is getting better. It is definitely growing. Every race we have had a qualifying for the pro class. I've never seen that before. With the factories coming into it, it's just going to keep growing. Everyone has been waiting to see this for many years. Two of the guys who have deserved it their whole lives have gotten rides now. Congratulate them, because they deserve it. We look up to them and hope one day we'll be there too.

R450: What is your least favorite track on the circuit?
Tavis: I don't want to say, because I don't want to make anybody mad. If I have to pick though, I would say London, Kentucky. To me, it would make a great practice track, but it's just not a really good racetrack.

R450: I know the next race is at Casey, Illinois. That's not too far from where I'm from. What do you think of that track?
Tavis: I like that track, it's fun. The promoter tries really hard. They keep that track up really well. It has a lot of jumps. That track probably is in my top five favorite tracks. It's a little narrow, but it's not too bad. It's a pretty good track.

Well Tavis, thanks for taking the time to talk. Good luck this weekend. I hope that you can pull off your top five goal for the season. I think that you have a really good shot at pulling it off. You run really smooth and you always seem to be consistent so that should help along the way.

Back to the Start.
