How has it been making friends here?
I’ve just started making friends; it took a little while to get there. I know a few people now so it’s easier.

So do people think it’s cool what you’re doing?
Yeah, I have a lot of people come and talk to me because of it.

How hard is it to find out information on the US series at home? We’ll be the first to say we’ve always been displeased with ATV coverage.
I talked to another rider who had been over here in 98 or 99 and he helped a bit, but the rest I learned when I got out here.

You’re staying in Thompsonville, Illinois, which isn’t far from our office. Did you know someone there or how did that come about?
My cousin Craig is living there, I’m staying with him.

Do you plan on returning next season?
If everything goes well this year I’m going to try. The biggest part of the expense has already been taken care of. We bought a truck and a trailer and I shipped my Laeger CRF over but this is my first time on the production YFZ. We had to build it quick and I haven’t had much time on it.
