We’ve been waiting for Casey to roll around all year long; it’s only 90 minutes from the Racer 450 office, the closest race by far. For those who haven’t been to Casey, it’s a little different than all the other tracks in the series.

The soil is hard and dusty much like that from London (only seven hours from Casey) and the track is built on the side of a woods. There are several trees in or surrounding the track but it’s definitely not through the woods like the rumor says. For more about the track visit Ryan’s Track Report.

This year everyone was looking good in practice on Saturday and contrary to what you may have read elsewhere, nearly all of the Pro riders and even some of the Pro Am Production riders were doing the famous triple. The rider of the year “Doug Gust” was even nose landing the triple. We were quite anxious to see where this race would end up, so let’s fast forward to Sunday.
