R450: Is there anything you would like to see change that the organization (ATVA) can control? R450: Trust us, we’ve brought it up to the ATVA before, we actually totally agree. R450: The ATVA doesn’t share our enthusiasm. / Daryl’s wife Jennifer joins the interview / Jennifer: You’ve got the younger classes to consider as well; those kids are the next generation of Pros. Those kids are starting on ATVs that don’t have anything stock but now they will be expected to move to a production ATV as they grow up. R450: So how involved are you with the racing business? R450: Good for you, what’s your job title? R450: Got any good stories, I mean about racing not about Daryl! Daryl: We have a lot of fun down in the Dominican. It is grass roots racing. We hauled the ATV to the track in a pickup, no tools or spare parts. Fuel in a milk jug. It’s amazing.
R450: Tell us about it. R450: What kind of ATVs do they run? Jennifer: The people go so crazy it’s almost like going to a NASCAR race here. Daryl: We do the race on Sunday; then on Monday we go into a TV studio and do a show that is almost like our Moto World. We’ve both been on it. They even show the whole race. It’s neat and they treat you great. R450: So do they race for big money? Daryl: It’s a totally different world there guys. |
