R450: What place did you end up finishing in the Motocross?
Keith: I ended up 8th overall for the year in the Motocross. I fell way short of what I wanted to do. We had a lot of little problems here and there that kept us from finishing races. That really hurt our overall finish. I felt that I had the speed and the equipment, but little things just kept going wrong.

R450: So overall what did you think of the Motocross circuit?
Keith: I think it went pretty good. It was nice to see everybody on production bikes. I think that it sparked some interest with the factories. We need to see more of those guys running around in the pits. I think that they might have made the switch a little bit early. I would have liked to see us have another couple of years before we made the switch to let the factories get really involved heavily. All in all it was great though and it worked out pretty good.

R450: Are there any of the races on the Motocross circuit that you wish that you had a redo on?
Keith: Yeah, the two races that I wish would have went different were Gatorback and Macon. At Gatorback I was running really strong in the first moto behind Doug, and the motor blew up. Then in the second moto I was having break problems. At Macon thought I would give anything to have that second moto to run over. The CDI box went out on the bike and it started spitting and sputtering. I would love to have had a different CDI box on and got to run that again.

R450: Any of the tracks that you really liked this year?
Keith: Macon is always a good racetrack, because there are always multiple lines. Passing is pretty easy, if you are faster than the other riders are. Macon is one of my favorite tracks. Red Bud made some changes this year, and I really didn’t like the changes that they made. They cut out one of my favorite parts of the track to make the changes. So in all honesty I liked it better before.
