Coming out for moto 2 all eyes were on Tim to see if he could manage to pull the holeshot again, which seemed to be key to winning on this muddy track. Once again the riders took their sight laps to make sure that the track was manageable. After the lap, they set up for the gate drop, and as they tore out for the corner, it looked like Tim was going to make another run for the lead. When they came out of the turn, Tim was once again in first place. That makes two holeshots in a row. Doug managed to fall into second place again. However, John Natalie came out in the third spot. Jeremiah managed to pull in fourth place. Kory Ellis and Joe Byrd were running five and six. Tim and Doug maintained their lead, but Jeremiah was steadily gaining ground on John. After the third lap, Jeremiah managed to get around John. After that Joe got around Kory to take over fifth place. Travis Spader was moving up quickly to put pressure on Kory. John managed to fall back to fifth as Joe Byrd moved into fourth. Travis managed to come around Kory and was approaching John. Meanwhile, Tim, Doug, and Jeremiah made steady laps kept position as first, second, and third. Travis Spader managed to move into fifth. As the race wore on, once again each of the riders was covered with mud. Tim managed to pull out first place and win the overall for the race. Doug held onto his position for second overall. Jeremiah kept pace for third overall. After the race it was apparent from Tim’s fans and crew that they had been waiting a long time for this day, as it seemed to be a very emotional win. Team Suzuki fans were also abundant as the winners gave their speech at the end of moto 2, Gust and Jones fans surrounded the team and media members and gave a very respectable applause for their favorite riders.
