Moto 2 is now on the line and everyone is hoping to see Keith pull the holeshot and go 1 and 1, just like Tim did at Glen Helen. As the gate drops and they tear out for the first turn, Keith Little pulls out and takes the holeshot once again. Kory Ellis came out fighting to take the second place position. Doug Gust is just behind him followed closely by Luburgh. Natalie rounds out the top five followed by Tim Farr in sixth. Jones had a problem and got tied up in the first turn. He is way back in the pack in fourteenth position on this first lap. Wimmer is behind Jeremiah in fifteenth position. Through the first five laps, nothing seems to be changing. Keith is running strong, maintaining the lead that he established after the holeshot. These guys are running a very quick pace making for lap traffic by the seventh lap. Natalie is right on Luburgh now trying to take fourth position.

He has really stepped up his pace. Keith is out front with Ellis behind. Doug is pushing Ellis trying to make a pass. Natalie manages to get around Luburgh and is driving forward and gaining on Doug Gust. As they work through the front section, Natalie drives around Doug Gust for third. Natalie is flying around the track making up time on every lap. Tim is still in sixth behind Jason Luburgh. Jones has managed to move up into twelfth behind Joe Byrd. Natalie is working his way up on Ellis and looking to make a pass. Keith is still managing to hold a very impressive lead over Ellis who is in second place. Jones got around Joe Byrd and is still working his way up. Jones is also running at an incredible pace. Tavis Cain has also moved up in position from the back of the pack, but he has a long way to go. Natalie moves into second past Ellis. As they are coming through the rhythm section just before the announcer's tower, John Natalie and Kory Ellis got locked up and they can’t get their bikes apart. They both drop back into the back part of the pack and John comes out in the very back as lap traffic. The positions as they stand after that wreck change immensely. Keith is still out front with a strong lead. Doug is now in second, with Luburgh in third. Tim Farr is now in fourth and Jones is in seventh and charging hard. The only real change on the last lap is that Jeremiah Jones manages to take over sixth place. Keith pulls a 1 and 1 just like Tim did at Glen Helen. Keith crosses to pull out a very impressive win at Texas.
