R450: How long have you been riding for Lost Creek, and how do you like it?
Dunk: I’ve been with them for five years, and I love it. Kevin and I have always gotten along really good. It started out as a rider/mechanic relationship, but we have become friends since then. It works out really well, because he is only an hour from my house. If I need parts or any repairs, he is really close.

R450: How do you feel about the way that you have been running so far this season?
Dunk: I’ve had some good rounds. I had some bad luck in California. The first moto out here, I got a little sick, hopefully, I can come back in the second moto. This is a rough track and it is kicking everybody’s ass. I have been running pretty good, and keeping in the top ten. The top ten is where you want to be. We are just trying to stay in the top ten.

R450: What do you do for training?
Dunk: I try to ride as much as I can. I also go to the gym. I don’t lift real heavy, but I lift light and do a lot of cardio.

R450: What do you do in the winter?
Dunk: This past winter, I went to Florida and California with Dustin Wimmer.

R450: What can they do to help out the series?
Dunk: I think that they need to organize the pro pits better. If you look around, there are a lot of people that aren’t pros that are pitted here. I think that fixing things like that would help to make this sport more recognized if they would organize things better.

R450: Do you have any advice to give?
Dunk: Don’t give up. You need to start locally, and then move up after you become comfortable. Even after you become comfortable, don’t be surprised when you come here and it is a whole different ball game. You can’t get frustrated. You have to keep trying.

/ Well Jason, good luck with the rest of the season. Thanks for the time, and enjoy the second moto. /
