Ellis got around Little for the third position, and Farr managed to make the pass on Little for fourth spot. Everybody in the back of the pack seems to be holding position, with Jones making a pass every so often. Farr is working on Ellis, trying to make a pass for third place. Byrd is working on Little trying to take the fifth place position. Once again, this is turning out to be the John Natalie show, just like last year it was the Doug Gust show.

Natalie is extending his lead over Gust. Ellis is managing to hold off Farr. Jones has managed to move all the way up into the ninth spot from the back of the pack. Goodman is in tenth followed by Dunk who is working hard for position on Goodman. With only a few laps left, Natalie is continuing to make his presence known by keeping a solid lead over Gust. Farr is still trying to make the pass on Ellis. There is a huge gap between Farr and Little. Byrd is fighting to make the pass on Little. Gust manages to work his way closer to Natalie and is going to try to make a pass on the final lap. He is pushing his way onto Natalie’s bumper and they are fighting it out on the last lap.

Natalie is still holding position, but Gust will not back off. Throughout the final lap, Gust is looking for John to make a mistake so that he can make the pass. As they come through the whoops, Gust is gaining ground, but John manages to hold on to take the checkered flag. It will be Natalie with the win overall. Gust will take second, and Ellis will take the third. Remember, Natalie was racing under appeal of his suspension. This means that if he loses the appeal, he will not get the points from this race.
