Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Josh Creamer earned his first professional victory aboard the all-new KFX®450R on Friday during the second heat race of the World PowerSports Association Series at Daniel Boone MX Park in London, Ky.
After earning a 2-1 during Friday’s SuperQuad 450 Pro heat races, Creamer went on to take another victory during Saturday’s set of races, finishing the day with a 3-1. The finishes during the heat races determine the gate-pick for Sunday’s doubleheader main events.
Teammate Jason Luburgh suffered a broken eardrum after a crash on Friday and was unable to race the rest of the day. Although he wasn’t 100-percent, Luburgh finished a respectable 7-6 during Saturday’s heats.
Baldwin Motorsports Kawasaki’s Josh Upperman went 4-5 on the first day of heats on Friday and 11-3 on Saturday.
The WPSA doubleheader, which includes rounds four and five, will be held on Sunday. |
